TYLER, Texas (September 28, 2025) – The University of Texas Permian Basin women's tennis team continued its Fall season this week, participating in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) South Central Regional, hosted by The University of Texas at Tyler.

The Falcons competed with other D2 players from around the region in bracket play that extend from Thursday, September 25, through Saturday, September 27. In all, 78 players faced off over the duration in what was a 64-person main draw for singles and a 32-team main draw for doubles at the three-day ITA Regional Tournament. Everyone competed well and made their opponents work for every point earned. I was happy to see the hard work of our ladies begin to pay off with everyone getting victories in either singles or doubles."
