UT Permian Basin men's and women's tennis returned after a two week break to pick up a pair of victories over New Mexico Military Institute. The Falcon women picked up wins at four of five singles matches in taking a 6-1 victory, and the UTPB men won three singles matches to take the 4-3 win.

Madison Hoetling and Amelie Saint-Dizier won 8-1 at #2 doubles, and Malissa Ariza and Jessica Madamba combined at #3 doubles to sweep 8-0 to take the doubles point.

Four Falcon women picked up strong wins in singles action as UTPB picked up their second win in three matches. Ariza won 7-6, 6-3 at #2 singles. Saint-Dizier picked up a 6-1, 6-2 singles win at #3 singles. Julia Ramalho picked up a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at #4 singles, and Paulina Obreque won 6-1, 6-0 at #5 singles .

The UTPB men picked up four singles points to claim victory in their match, their 11th of the season. Juan Diego Ruiz rallied to win at #2 singles 5-7, 6-4, 7-5 in three sets. Enrique Sanchez picked up a two-set, 6-3, 6-1 win at #4 singles. Felipe Dias won 6-0, 6-2 in #5 singles action.

Both teams are back in action to start the week, as the Falcons host Cameron in Lone Star Conference action Monday morning at 10 a.m.
