ODESSA, Texas (August 13, 2025) – In addition to the native Texans arriving to campus this Fall, The University of Texas Permian Basin Head Women's Soccer Coach
Garrett Kull and his staff wanted to make an impression in the region by focusing on committing players from the Southwest. The result being the Falcons adding multiple players from New Mexico and Arizona.
Coach Kull spoke to the process of adding these commits, saying, "The out-of-state process is quite different because of the different hurdles a staff can face in the recruitment process. You have to understand the area you are recruiting, which can be difficult from a far, and make sure you have the right community to support players that are farther away from home."
