MIDLAND, Texas - The University of Texas Permian Basin faced St. Mary's in their regular season finale on Sunday at Bush Tennis Center in Midland, Texas. Senior Lisa Guitton celebrated Senior Day with a win but it wasn't enough for the Falcons to hold off the Rattlers in a 6-1 final.
 
UTPB picked up a doubles win on court three with Paige Bott and Teodora Vrucan picking up the victory, 6-3. The Rattlers earned wins on courts one and two to take the point.
 
Guitton battled for her win, 7-5, 7-6 (7-4), a tight contest. On court four, Bott took her match to a third set but fell in a tiebreaker, 6-1, 2-6, 7-6 (7-2). St. Mary's went on to win the other four singles matches in straight sets.
