MIDLAND, Texas - The University of Texas Permian Basin women's tennis team (1-0 Lone Star Conference, 6-4) beat Texas A&M Texarkana (2-4) 5-2 and Sul Ross State (0-2) 7-0, Friday at Bush Tennis Center.
 
It was a near perfect performance against Sul Ross State as the Falcons lost just four games total over the nine flights.

"We certainly took care of business today. We had a bit of a sloppy start in doubles against TAMU Texarkana, but after that, we dominated the rest of the day. It was great to see. Tomorrow against Seward County, we have a chance to avenge a 4-3 loss we had last year. Seward County has definitely been a non-LSC star on the calendar for us."
