UTPB Pulls Off Two Sweeps

MIDLAND, Texas – It was a perfect day in singles as The University of Texas Permian Basin men's tennis team (1-0 Lone Star Conference, 9-1) beat Texas A&M Texarkana (4-6) and Sul Ross State (0-2), Friday at Bush Tennis Center.

In singles play, UTPB did not lose a single set.  The Falcons were especially strong against Sul Ross losing only eight total games.

"The boys took care of business today. Ever since the last point finished today, we have been focused on tomorrow. Seward County is going to be tough. Our men have a challenge ahead of them and I'm excited to see how they compete. Should be fun."
