2024-25 (Sophomore):
Played primarily from the No. 6 singles and No. 3 doubles spots... Was one of four Falcons to secure double-digit wins in both singles and doubles... Went 10-6 overall in singles this season (6-1 at No. 5 singles; 4-5 at No. 6 singles) and was 13-4 in doubles... Nitzschke and his primary doubles partner, Sergio Alejandro Gonzlaez Ibanez, went 11-3 overall and were 10-3 at No. 3 doubles... In the LSC, Nitzschke went 6-2 in singles (5-2 at No. 6 singles) and was 5-2 at No. 3 doubles with Gonzalez Ibanez... Opened the year 6-0 on the weekend between both doubles and singles at the Hardin-Simmons Cowboy Classic (Sept. 13-14)... At the ITA South Central Regional Championships this past Fall (Sept. 26-28), Nitzschke advanced to the round of 16 in the Singles Main Draw and teamed up with Jonathan Vega to advance to the semifinals of the Doubles Back Draw, resulting in Nitzschke being ranked No. 11 in singles and Nitzschke and Vega being named No. 10 in doubles in the South Central Region. It was his second Fall season in a row being regionally-ranked in doubles... Named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team... Also named to the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll (4.0 Fall semester)... Has made the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll in each of his first four semesters at UTPB... Named an ITA Scholar-Athlete for the second-straight year... Earned 2025 D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award.
2023-24 (Freshman):
Played in 33 matches... Held a singles record of 19-13 with a winning percentage of 59 percent… Had a doubles record of 26-8 which brought a 76 percent winning percentage… Nitzschke and Vitaliy Horovoy made it to the semifinals at the ITA South Central Regional Championships (Sept. 28-30), resulting in them being ranked as the No. 4 doubles team in the South Central Region... Helped the Falcons finish the season with a 20-5 overall record and a 7-1 mark in the LSC while tying for first place in the Lone Star Conference in the regular season and advancing to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the first time in program history... Was named LSC Honorable-Mention doubles with Takumi Katsuda… Was also named to the LSC All-Tournament Team... Named a ITA Scholar-Athlete... Named to the Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.
