ABILENE, Texas - Junior Brooke Runyan had a milestone win as The University of Texas Permian Basin women's tennis team played NCAA Division I Abilene Christian, Sunday morning.   ACU won the exhibition match 6-1.

The highlight was Runyan beating Maryjoe Crisologo (Abilene Christian) 7-5, 1-6, 6-0 at Number One Singles.  It was the highest rated singles win for a UTPB women's tennis player in program history.

"The team showed great fight today. We really pushed ACU in doubles and a few of the singles matches. Brooke came out with a historic win at number one singles. Very cool to see."
