MIDLOTHIAN, Texas – The University of Texas Permian Basin men's tennis team (6-1) lost 4-3 to Southern Arkansas (3-2), Sunday.

Sophomore Vitaliy Horovoy picked up a strong win at Number 1 Singles beating #35 Tim Fischer (Southern Arkansas) 1-6, 6-4, 6-4.

"Southern Arkansas took it to us. We unfortunately gave them a little room to breathe in singles and they took full advantage of it. We missed a lot of opportunities too. When those two things happen, you can't expect to win at this level against a team like that. We'll learn from this"
