ODESSA, Texas – Paige Bott (Dunmow, Essex, United Kingdom) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for The University of Texas Permian Basin women's tennis team.  She is planning on majoring in Criminology.

Bott had a strong career at New Hall School.  In 2022, she helped her team reach the LTA National Youth School Championship final.  Bott has a current Universal Tennis Rating of 7.2+.

In 2018, Bott, as an unseeded player, beat two of the top four seeds to win the U14 Essex Finals.  This qualified her for The Road to Wimbledon tournament.  Bott was not just content to qualify as she went 3-0 to win her group and make it to the knockout stage.

Paige has a big game revolving around her groundstrokes, and while supplying a lot of power with her groundstrokes, she still seems to maintain a consistent rhythm with her footwork and racquet-head speed. That shows a lot of maturity and understanding of her own unique game. I think Paige will do really well here at the NCAA Division II level."
