MIDLAND, TX – The UT Permian Basin tennis team put one in the win column against the University of Arkansas Fort Smith Friday afternoon at the Bush Tennis Center.
The Falcons won 6-1 including a sweep in doubles over the Lions.
Head Coach
Alex Hunt said he was very proud of how his team played today and that his team is trending in the right direction.
"The ladies came out today and took care of business in horrendous windy conditions against a talented Arkansas Fort Smith squad," said Hunt. "We dominated the doubles courts and that took us on to the singles action. Throughout the 50mph gusts, our UTPB ladies remained mentally strong and focused and that's basically what led to such an impressive performance from all of them."
