ODESSA, TX – UT Permian Basin's Sophomore Brooke Runyan performance last week earned her the Lone Star Conference player of the week award.
 
Runyan paired with Lisa Guitton and the doubles tandem continued their impressive win streak at number 3 doubles against Western New Mexico's Mann-Ning Li and Willemijn Van Mierlo with the score of 6-4.
  
Runyan then went on to win her number 5 singles match against WNMU's Mann-Ning Li 4-6 6-3 7-6 (3).
 
Both of Brooke's wins helped the UTPB women defeat WNMU 5-2.
 
The women's team will be in action Friday, March 3 against Texas A&M Kingsville on the campus courts at UTPB starting at 1pm.
