ODESSA, TX – For the first time in the history of UT Permian Basin Swimming and Diving a women swimmer will take part in the NCAA National Championship Meet, March 7-11 in Indianapolis, IN.
Senior Jazmine Tscheme will compete for a national championship in the 200-yard Backstroke.
Sophomore Niklas Heelein, swam a "B" cut in the three events, but just missed the NCAA cut in the 1,000 free by two spots.
The Falcons have a rich championship history, however, this is the first swimmer to make the championship meet since joining the NCAA in 2006.
