UT Permian Basin Women's Tennis had a strong finish to their fall schedule with three players reaching the round of 16 of their brackets at the ITA Regional Championships.  Rhea Singh, Teodora Vrucan, and Lea Mjertan all reached the round of 16 in the consolation bracket in the field featuring Lone Star Conference foes.

With a win, Singh and Vrucan would've advanced to face each other in the quarterfinals.  It wasn't in the cards despite their best efforts, with both matches going to a third set super tiebreaker before falling.  It was the same for Mjertan who forced a third set before falling to end her run in the tournament.
