Looking to reinforce their inside presence this season, UT Permian Basin Men's Basketball may have found it with the signing of Daniel Moody. Moody averaged 16.6 points per game last season at Pima Community College alone with 9.0 rebounds to earn Second Team All-Region I honors and Third Team All-ACCAC.
Moody, a 6-7 forward, can also shoot it from long range after connecting for 74 threes converting on 40.2 percent of them last season. Against Cochise he went 7-of-13 from deep and scored a season high 32 points. He finished in double figures 21 times while posting 10 double-doubles. He had a season high 16 boards against Central Arizona.
"Daniel has a great ability to shoot and score the ball," said Head Coach
Kyle Tolin. "We think we can play several different ways this year and he will provide depth across the floor. He can really help space the floor for us and is versatile enough to guard several different positions."
