Looking to shore up their doubles play this coming year, UT Permian Basin Men's Tennis has added Takumi Katsuda from Tokyo, Japan.  Katsuda ranked among the top-30 players under 18 in Japan and was a quarterfinalist in the Japan National High School Championships in doubles.
 
"Takumi is a strong doubles player," said Head Coach Stan Anderson.  "He is capable of ending points with a big forehand and has variety in his serve to keep opponents guessing.  I really wanted to improve our doubles play and he is the type of player that will fill that need."
