One of the best in Texas from up the road in Lubbock is joining UT Permian Basin Men's Tennis.  Carson Bolton finished third in singles at the Texas TAPPS tournament this season and is now taking his talents to UTPB. 
 
"We are very fortunate to have Carson joining our team this year," said Head Coach Stan Anderson.  "He has played high school tennis and is familiar with team tennis.  At the John Newcombe College Showcase he was consistently at the top courts.  He is a strong doubles player and I really like his instincts.  He has a great feel for the game and knows where to be to put the ball away at the net."
