Coming off a pair of wins to reach the Lone Star Conference playoffs, UT Permian Basin Women's Tennis will need a huge upset to extend their season.  The Falcons open the postseason against No. 8 Cameron in early morning action.
 
The Falcon match-up with the Aggies less than two weeks ago was closer than the final score of 7-0 in Cameron.  Three of the singles matches needed a third set to be decided while Lisa Guitton and Lore Mewis were just a handful of points from flipping their results.
 
On Wednesday, Krystal Smith was named an All-Conference Honorable Mention after a stellar season.  The junior looks for some revenge after being handed her only defeat in conference play from the Aggies.
 
The Aggies come into the tournament as the No. 1 seed and LSC co-regular season champions.  They had seven selected for All-Conference awards including Head Coach Josh Cobble as Coach of the Year and Freshman of the Year Anastasia Uspenskaia.
