Staring down one of the best teams in the nation in the opening round of the Lone Star Conference playoffs, UT Permian Basin Women's Tennis got terrific performances from Lisa Guitton and Teodora Vrucan. 
 
Vrucan had taken the opening set against the No. 8 Cameron top line.  Guitton did the same at No. 3 while both of their second sets were tight before the called in favor of the Aggies.  Brooke Runyan fell in her opening set 7-5 and was also in a close second set.  The Aggies took the doubles point and three singles to take the match 4-0.
 
"Our program took a big step forward this year," said Head Coach Stan Anderson.  "I am so proud of each of them.  Lisa was playing her best tennis of the year, she just ran out of time."
