Box Score In one of their final tune-ups before Lone Star Conference play, UT Permian Basin Tennis showed they're ready after a tight battle with Division I New Mexico State on Saturday.

The Falcons took games in every match on the afternoon. They battled in the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches. The teams of Krystal Smith and Rhea Singh as well as Teodora Vrucan and Brooke Runyan hung in against their DI opposition before falling 6-4.

In singles the Falcons were close across the board. Singh forced a first set tiebreaker, while Lore Mewis, Lisa Guitton, and Krystal Smith all took at least four games from their foes.
