Facing a tall task against Division I opponents at the UTEP Invitational, Lisa Guitton was able to force a third set against New Mexico State.  She was the only Falcon to take a set playing up a level.  

She cruised in the opening set but couldn't hang on in the next two.  Jenny Nguyen, Brooke Runyan, and Briana Garcia all took four points each from their opponent.  Garcia along with doubles teammate Viktoriia Shodulko had a hard-fought battle in doubles but fell 6-4 against New Mexico State.
