Box Score The young duo of Lore Mewis and Krystal Smith played some of their best doubles tennis against Division I opponent UTEP.  Playing in the number two spot the team exchanged points early and started the set 3-3. 
 
Anaya Singh had a chance for the upset in singles forcing a tiebreaker in the second set.  She couldn't pull off the upset falling in the point 7-6.
 
"We were really close in a lot of matches but couldn't finish off points," said Head Coach Stan Anderson.  "We didn't have our best day serving and UTEP took advantage of that.  We know we can compete with anybody; we just have to pull through on the critical points in the match.  I am really proud of Anaya (Singh).  I challenged her after the first set, and she responded with her best tennis of the season."
