UT Permian Basin Women's Tennis closed out a two-day road swing Saturday and will return home for a 1 p.m. Sunday match against Sul Ross at the Permian High School Tennis Courts in Odessa. The Falcons fell 6-1 earlier Saturday afternoon against Angelo State in San Angelo.
Anastasia Obreque picked up the point for UTPB, winning her #6 singles match against Andrea Ramic. She took the first set 6-4 and dropped just one game in the 6-1 second set.Â
Madison Hoetling went down fighting at #2 singles in a 6-2, 7-6 (7-3) loss to Maria Delgadillo, and
Paulina Obreque took Lucie Maitrot to a third set tiebreaker at 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-6).
