UT Permian Basin women's tennis opened its last week of the regular season with a 9-0 win at home over University of the Southwest at the Bush Tennis Center in Midland, Texas.

Fernanda Orona (#1), Andrea Villalobos (#2), Krissy Chavez (#3), Paulina Obreque (#4), Abigail Andress (#5) and Stephanie Prats (#6) all won their singles matches without dropping a set, while Andress and Prats didn't drop a game.

The Falcons won all three doubles matches as Chavez/Sofia Ochoa Arminana, Villalobos/Prats and Orona/Obreque picked up victories.

The Falcons return to the Bush Tennis Center for conference matches against Midwestern State and Cameron Friday and Saturday mornings.
