Each UTPB tennis program earned a victory over University of the Southwest Tuesday afternoon as the women defeated Southwest 8-1 and the men earned a 6-3 win at the Bush Tennis Center in Midland.

The women dropped just one set in six singles matches and had two players (Shelby Green and Rebecca Stafford) lose two or fewer games on the day.

The men took the win in two of the three doubles matches and were victorious in four of six singles matches contested against the Mustangs.
