In their first home match of the spring season, The University of Texas of the Permian Basin gave its fans a show as the Falcons swept Schreiner 9-0.
 
In doubles play, the tandem of Meliton Morales and Austin Fowler gave the Falcons an early 1-0 lead after taking an 8-4 victory over Austin Carrola and Cameron Timber.  Alvaro Sifuentes and Anthony Ellsworth quickly made it 2-0 with an 8-1 victory over Nathan West and Michael Wallace at the No. 2 spot.  Edgar Lazcano and Josh Lup finished off the doubles competition with an 8-1 victory over Matt Salazar and Travis Pflughaupt at the No. 3 position. 
 
Playing at No. 6 singles, Jacey Kidd gave the Falcons a 4-0 lead with a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Pflughaupt.  Veck clinched the match at No. 5 singles with a 7-6, 6-4 triumph over West.  Morales added to UTPB's lead at No. 1 singles with his 6-4, 6-0 win over Carrola before Sifuentes took a 6-0, 6-1 win over Timber at the No. 2 spot. 
 
Fowler and Ellsworth rounded out singles play with straight-set victories at the No. 3 and 4 singles respectively.
