Texas A&M International out-shot The University of Texas of the Permian Basin 18-7 and held the Falcons to just three shots on goal as the Dustdevils took a 3-0 Heartland Conference win over the men's soccer team.
A&M International's Luis Salas converted a penalty kick at the 27
th minute, which proved to be enough as the No. 18 Dustdevils improved to 9-2-2 overall and a perfect 5-0 in league play.
The Dustdevils would put in goals at the 62
nd and 71
st minute, as UTPB fell to 4-11 on the season.
Tyler Gibson had three of the team's seven shots, including one on goal, while
David Huxen and
Tyler Pate had the others.
The Falcons will hit the road to take on Newman in Wichita, Kan. on Friday at 7 p.m.
