HIGH SCHOOL: Played both football and soccer at Belton High School and excelled in both as he was a four-time all-district performer in soccer and was the special teams MVP and was named all-state honorable mention as a kicker in football…As a freshman, he was named to the all-district second team before garnering first team honors as a sophomore and junior…Was first team all-district as well as first team Super Centex and Killeen Daily Herald as a senior…Helped lead the Tigers to three-straight district championships…Graduated in top six percent of his class.

PERSONAL: Tyler Pate was born July 29, 1992 in Belton, Texas and is the son of Jerry and Vicki Pate of Belton…Majoring in kinesiology.
