The Trinity women enter their new season following a successful 2025-26 campaign that saw them capture their first Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championship. Trinity finished the conference meet with 984 points, securing the title by a 230-point margin over Centre College. With several conference champions and NCAA qualifiers returning, the Tigers will look to build on last season's success.
"The team swam really well on Saturday," said Head Coach
Brian Schroeder. "Our women's team keeps improving year after year. We went from winning three events in 2025 to seven events in 2026 in our dual meet against Trinity. On the men's side we only got to compete against part of Trinity's team and won all but two events. We know they have some fast people and are looking to compete against their whole team next month. This was the last meet that we had Coach
Leo Eleftherakis with the team. He has contributed so much to UTPB as a student, swimmer and coach, and we are excited to continue to see what he will accomplish. Thank you, Leo."
