ODESSA, Texas – The awards keep coming in for the UT Permian Basin baseball team, who had two players named to the 2024 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. II All-Region team for the South Central Region.  

Already being named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association South Central Region Second Team, Ethan Flodstrom and Mason Hamlin were named to ABCA/Rawlings First Team for the South Central Region.

This is Flodstrom's fifth award this season, already being earning First Team All-Conference, LSC All-Tournament Team, D2CCA Second Team, and National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association (NCBWA) South Central Second Team All-Region. Additionally, in 2023 Flodstrom earned First Team All-Conference and was named to the LSC All-Defensive Team.

Hamlin has also been recognized for his play on the diamond, being named Second Team All-Conference and D2CCA Second Team.
