ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Florida - The 13th-seeded University of Texas Permian Basin men's tennis team saw their season end against Columbus State, 4-0, in the NCAA Sweet Sixteen on Tuesday in Altamonte Springs, Florida. The Falcons finished the season as the regular season Lone Star Conference Champions and won 20 matches.

The No. 4 seed Cougars took the contest on court one doubles, 6-2.
Takumi Katsuda and
Lucas Nitzschke bounced back for the Falcons and won on court three, 7-5, to tie up doubles. In the end, the Cougars came out on top with a 6-4 victory on two for the point.
