ODESSA, Texas – UT Permian Basin men's tennis is receiving consideration in the first South Central Region Rankings which was released today (Apr. 17) by the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis advisory committee.

These are the first of three rankings that will be released before the NCAA Division II championship field is announced. The top four teams advance, with the two highest ranked teams hosting the lower ranked teams at campus locations.

The two winners advance to the NCAA Division II Men's Championships set for May 21-25 at Sanlando Park Tennis Center in Altamonte Springs, Florida.

UTPB (11-3) is under consideration along with Lubbock Christian (12-5), Midwestern State (11-7), and UT Tyler (15-5).
