FRESNO, California - After having their winning streak snapped by Azuza Pacific, the University of Texas Permian Basin men's tennis team bounced back with a 4-3 win over Fresno Pacific to close their west coast swing.

The Falcons got off to a quick start by taking the doubles point, with wins on courts one and two.
Takumi Katsuda got the Falcons going in singles with a win on two, making quick work of his opponent, 6-0, 6-2.
Jonathan Vega earned a 7-5, 6-4 win on court three and put the Falcons a win away from clinching the match.

The Sunbirds got back in the match with wins on six and one to even the score at 3-3.
Grzegorz Rudnicki pulled out the win on court four in a three-set thriller, 6-7, 7-6, 7-5, to pull out the win for the Falcons.

UTPB returns to Texas to face DBU in a Lone Star Conference battle on March 21.
