Meet Ariel Castanon, an assistant women's soccer coach and UTPB alum! Castanon graduated in the summer of 2023 with his Master's in Business Administration (MBA). Originally born in Chile, Castanon identifies as Latino. He said he enjoys sharing his culture with others.

"Independence Day in Chile is a big deal. We celebrate our independence on September 18th," said Castanon. "Celebrating holidays like this helps me remember home and honor where I am from."

Castanon enters his second year at UTPB as an assistant soccer coach and has enjoyed his time as a Falcon so far. "I love being a part of the women's soccer team at UTPB and the people who work here are great," said Castanon. "Everyone was so helpful throughout my Master's, which I really appreciate, and the athletic department really took care of me as a student."
