DALLAS, TX – The University of Texas Permian Basin women's golf program has one of the 20-best collegiate golfers in the NCAA Division II's Western Region as Arnie Taguines capped her two-day excursion to the Lone Star State with a tied for 18th-place finish.
 
The Filipino freshman will only improve as her experience grows over the seasons in Odessa, scoring a +8 and a total of 218 for the tournament with her round two mark being the best at a 71 on a par 70 (+1).
 
She ended up being the fifth-best student-athlete on Par 3s (E), the eighth-lowest score regarding Par 5s (-2), breaking even for par 33 times and birdieing seven holes.
