WICHITA FALLS, TX – UT Permian Basin Falcons started off strong on the road at Midwestern State University Saturday morning.
The team of
Takumi Katsuda and
Jonas Krahofer won in number one doubles 6-2.
UTPB had some close matches in singles play, but could not close on the Mustangs as they dropped the match 6-1.
"The men struggled a bit today, but we did play well," said Head Coach
Alex Hunt. ". I feel that we played at a pretty high level, it's just that Midwestern really came to play today and they took some close matches away from us."
