MIDLAND, TX – UT Permian Basin was looking to bounce back after a tough loss as they welcome University of Arkansas Fort Smith to the Bush Tennis Center.
The match came down to the wire, but the Lions got away with a narrow 4-3 win.
"Arkansas Fort Smith men were just mentally stronger than us today," said Head Coach
Alex Hunt. "We have a team full of young guys and we still have a lot of work to do. As we saw today, the match did not go in our favor. We had a serious talk as a team right after the match concluded and I am certain improvements will come."
