EL PASO, TX – UT Permian Basin women's golf team is kicking off 2023 strong with a second place finish at The Cactus Thaw! Tournament at the Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course in El Paso.

UTPB finished with a team score of 654 +78.

Eugenie Varet lead all Falcons with a third place finish shooting 83 and 75 for a score of +14 for a total of 158. Anaya Perales finished tied for fifth shooting 79 and 80 for a +15. Arnie Taguines finished 15^th with a 168, Kayla Perera was tied for 19^th with a 171, Keixa Lopez was tied for 24^th with a 176, Madeline Condron was 26^th with a 178, and Marina Solis was 27^th with a 184.
