UT Permian Basin Swimming started the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships strong with an impressive showing in the 800 relay.  The relay was the only event of the first day of the five day event.

The women started strong with a time that would have shattered the school record, but the team was disqualified.  The men finished fourth with their A-team and B-team finished 12th to earn points.  After day one the men are fourth while the women sit in seventh.
