Falcons Hold Back Mustangs

SILVER CITY, N.M. – All the parts of the machine were working in perfect harmony as The University of Texas Permian Basin football team (#18 / #18) (9-1, 7-0 Lone Star Conference) beat Western New Mexico (1-8, 0-7 LSC) 56-3, Saturday afternoon at Ben Altamirano Field.

At the 13:31 mark of the second quarter, sophomore Ben Patterson scored on a 24-yard pass.  The Falcons broke the game open with three touchdowns in the final nine minutes of the first half.
