ODESSA, Texas – Sophomore Ben Patterson was named to the Lone Star Conference Football All-Academic team.  This is the third time that a Falcon has been recognized.

Patterson, a wide receiver, has a 3.83 G.P.A. majoring in Petroleum Engineering.  On the field, he has caught 29 passes for 504 yards (17.38 yards per catch) and six touchdowns.

To be eligible for LSC academic honors, student-athletes must have played in at least 50 percent of the team's contests, reached sophomore athletic and academic standing, completed at least one full academic year at the nominating institution and have a minimum 3.30 cumulative grade point average based on the 4.0 system for their entire collegiate career.
