ROME, Ga. – Sophomores Takumi Katsuda and Jonas Krahofer advanced for The University of Texas Permian Basin men's tennis team at the ITA Cup. 

In the East Draw for doubles, Katsuda and Krahofer defeated Nabeel Khan and Alexander Leischner of Point Loma Nazarene, 6-7, 7-5, 10-8 (Tie Breaker) in the Round of 16.

Katsuda and Krahofer will play against Fernando Docters and Ramon Strassmann of Ouachita Baptist in the quarterfinals, Friday, Oct. 13.  The match is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
