UT Permian Basin Volleyball's
Daylee Doggett led the way with 22 digs and four service aces in Friday night's four-set win over Cameron.
Devin Alcoser provided a game-high 18 assists while Natalya Allison matched a game-best 12 kills.

The Aggies opened with a 4-1 run before a
Grace Feddern kill and a bad set cut it to 4-3. Cameron proceeded to up their lead to 10-3 and held at least a four-point lead throughout in a 25-20 win in set one.

UTPB stormed ahead in set two with a 7-0 run. It started with four attack errors before kills came from
Logan Terrazas,
Chandra Reed and
Aquincia Strambler.
Taurie Magee soon upped it to 10-1 with a kill, but Cameron cut it to 12-10 with a 9-2 answer. The Falcons responded quickly, using a 7-3 run with the help of three kills from
Netanya Allison. The Aggies got within five, but a service error closed the set in favor of the Falcons, 25-19.

After a service error,
Daylee Doggett served an ace for a 2-0 advantage. Tied 5-5,
Devin Alcoser gave the Falcons the lead with a kill before Allison ended a 4-0 run with a kill for a 9-5 advantage. Cameron got within two at 10-8, but the Falcons quickly turned it into a 15-8 lead. It was narrowed again at 15-13 before UTPB closed the third set on a 10-6 run. Allison continued to be big offensively, finishing the third set with a kill for a 25-19 score.

The Aggies scored the first two of the fourth set before Strambler came back with a kill and Doggett's ace tied it up. Terrazas then added a kill and another Doggett ace followed to make it 4-2. Now tied 4-4, the Falcons finished a 5-0 run with two kills from
Mayce Barker and one from Magee for a 9-4 advantage. UTPB continued to hold the lead, eventually going up 21-9. The doors were later closed on the set and match with a 5-1 finish. It saw two kills from Strambler, an ace from Doggett, and a final kill from Magee to take it 25-13.
