The Falcons controlled the pace early before a 4-0 run by the Pioneers shifted the lead. The visitor's looked like they'd steal the first set up 18-14 but the Falcons had other plans. A kill by
Chandra Reed and back-to-back aces by
Daylee Doggett sparked an 8-0 run that allowed the Falcons to take the set.

Despite another early Falcon lead, it was the Pioneers who flipped the script in the third set with a late extended run to make it 2-1 heading into the fourth set. In the fourth set the Falcons allowed just two runs of multiple points as the cruised 25-16.
Reed and
Aquincia Strambler supplied the offense with seven kills each.
