UT Permian Basin Volleyball received a pair of first place votes in the Lone Star Conference preseason polls the league announced Tuesday.  The Falcons were voted to finish sixth after a season that included a run to the LSC semifinals and wins over two nationally-ranked teams.
 
They were one of five teams to receive first place votes including West Texas A&M, Angelo State, UT Tyler, and Dallas Baptist.  West Texas A&M was picked to repeat as conference champions, followed by Angelo State, UT Tyler, Lubbock Christian, and DBU in the top five.
