UT Permian Basin Men's Tennis squares off with one of the best teams in Division II to open the Lone Star Conference playoffs.  The Falcons take on No. 41 UT Tyler at noon.
 
The Falcons enter the postseason with a 1-6 conference record after defeating DBU earlier in the season.  On Wednesday, Enrique Sanchez was named to the Second Team All-Conference as well as Academic Player of the Year.  Patryk Kosinski earned All-Conference Honorable Mention after winning eight matches this spring.
 
The Patriots are appearing for the first time in the LSC playoffs after transitioning from Division III.  The Patriots finished 6-1 in conference play to grab the No. 2 seed after winning the regular season championship a year ago.
