Just two matches remain in the regular season for UT Permian Basin Tennis. Today the Falcons are on the road against Arkansas Fort Smith looking to pick up an important Lone Star Conference win to keep pace in the race for the postseason.
The men are jockeying with the Lions for playoff seeding while the women need to win to stay alive for the playoffs. They are a game behind the Lions for the final postseason spot with two to go. The Falcons control their playoff destiny with wins in the final two matches.
The Lion men are 4-8 on the year and 2-3 in conference action. Their women are 2-11 but have a conference win over Western New Mexico keeping them in the playoff hunt.
