The Falcons open a busy week featuring six matches through Friday. The Falcon men haven't competed in nearly a month after weather canceled their last three contests. They enter the week 1-2 and will all but wrap-up non-conference play this week. They'll play four matches this week, followed by one more next week, before heading into Lone Star Conference Play.
Â
It's an extremely busy week for the women who'll play six matches including an LSC match-up tomorrow. They've already faced four Division I opponents in seven spring contests.Â
Brooke Runyan is playing well with a singles win over Angelo State and forcing third set tiebreakers in her previous two matches against DI foes.
Â
The Schreiner men come into today 4-4 including a loss to LSC opponent St. Mary's. They have won four of their last six overall. Their women are 5-3 against the same opponents. They have won three in a row and two of their losses were by a 5-4 score.
Â
The Falcons continue their busy week tomorrow as the women take on Texas A&M – Kingsville in an LSC match. Download the UTPB Athletics App to follow the team all season long.
