UT Permian Basin Tennis has been hot of late heading into Lone Star Conference play.  The men are riding a seven-game winning streak after a dominating performance over Dallas Baptist on Thursday.  The women have won four of their last five against non-Division I opponents.
 
Midwestern State comes into Saturday's action with a five-game winning streak on the men's side and a No. 41 national ranking.  They are 2-0 in LSC play after a pair of 6-1 wins over Arkansas Fort Smith and Western New Mexico.  The Mustang women are 14-4 on the year and 2-0 in LSC play.  The majority of their matches have been at home and the team is 4-2 on the road.
