After dropping 30 in last night's win over Adams State,
Azariah Seay kept the scoring touch with 22 points against Fort Lewis. The senior was 8-of-16 from the field and pulled down six rebounds.
He wasn't the only Falcon with the hot hand as
Jalen King added 19 points off the bench, doing most of his damage at the charity line.
Nathaniel Powell had a solid game as well with first double-double of the season, scoring 11 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
Seay started hot, scoring the first six Falcon points on the night. After keeping it close, the Skyhawks extended their slim lead with a 9-0 run. The Falcons kept things there and eventually cut the deficit to four thanks to seven points from King. The Skyhawks would close the half strong though and the Falcons trailed 45-36 after a half. In the second half the Falcons trailed by nine with 11 minutes to play, but the offense went cold and the Skyhawks heated up for the eventual 104-75 final.
The Falcons are home next weekend for the first time this season to host the Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux Thanksgiving Classic in the Falcon Dome. They will host Ecclesia at 2 PM Friday before closing the classic against Jarvis Christian at 4 PM on Saturday. Download the UTPB Athletics App to follow the team all season long.
